About Me

I’m a Midwest wife, mom, and grandma who loves lifting weights and playing with my two sweet grandsons. When not in the gym or chasing my grandkids, you can usually find me either at home curled up with a fresh cup of coffee or matcha and my bible study, or in a local coffee shop trying to get work done, but in reality just chatting with friends.

Experimenting in the kitchen with new, healthy recipes is one of my favorite things to do. However, I also believe in balance and will generally NEVER say no to a cupcake. I mean, really, who can??!

A Sweet Fit Life is a blog focused on faith, food, and fitness. My hope is to give encouragement to anyone who is striving to reach their own health and fitness goals, just as I have been during my own fitness journey. I want to share the things I’ve learned along the way as well as all the things I still have to learn from training, eating well, and letting God continue His work in me. I’m excited to share with you what has worked for me, what didn’t, and to build a community of like-minded women who want to look and feel their best.

One of the most valuable lessons I have learned is that when I am taking care of myself through fitness, eating healthy, and a daily walk with God, I am then able to take better care of my family, serve others, and fulfill my day-to-day obligations. Being focused on health is not a frivolous activity, it’s a necessity!

I want to encourage you as you work towards your goals, take control of your health and create a life that fills you with joy!
