Holiday workouts at home

December gets a little crazy with all the activities! Can I get an AMEN?!

With all the school programs, parties and family gatherings it can get a little hard to get to the gym.  If that’s you this month, I thought I’d share a few workouts you can do at home. All of these workouts require no equipment so all you need is a little time (and room) to get them in. Remember, all these workouts can be modified to any ability level. If you need any help modifying, feel free to shoot me an email and I can give you some modifications or substitutions.

Try to be sure to make some time for yourself to move your body. You’ll be glad you did and you’ll feel better running around to all those parties!!

Burpee Countdown:

20 burpees, 1 air squat

19 burpees, 2 air squats

18 burpees, 3 air squats

17 burpees, 4 air squats

and so on.

3 burpees, 18 air squats

2 burpees, 19 air squats

1 burpee,   20 air squats

 

3 Rounds for Time:

20 sit ups

30 alternating lunges

40 jumping jacks

50 mountain climbers

 

1-2 Rounds for Time:

10 burpees

20 sit ups

30 push ups

40 sec side plank (20 sec each side)

50 alternating reverse lunges

60 second wall sit
