3 Steps to Better Health

Thinking you want to work on creating a healthier lifestyle? Here are 3 places for you to start!

1. Mindset

Start here. If you want to improve your health, you have to change the way you think about health.

-It’s NECESSARY to take care of yourself, not self-indulgent. We have this one body to do all the things that need to be done. As a mom, wife, employee, business owner- it’s in everyone’s best interest to make sure we’re working at our full potential.

2. Nutrition

We have to change the way we fuel our bodies. That doesn’t mean saying no to anything that tastes good. It means thinking differently about how we’re eating. 

What you put into your body is going to either fuel you or drain you. Consistency is the key. You do not have to give up the occasional treats, but you do need to consistently feed your body good healthy food. 

You cannot outwork a bad diet. Which brings us to the 3rd step.

3. Exercise

For most of us, our days are filled with time in the car or time sitting at a desk. We NEED to move our bodies. It’s important to find a good exercise program that works for you.

There are so many different options. I love CrossFit, but there’s also: running, pilates, yoga, HIIT, sports, weight training, cardio… you name it, it’s out there! Find what works for you and go for it!
