Honey Garlic Steak Bites
Yum! These steak bites from @healthy.foodyss are delicious (go give them a follow)! And another great thing about these is that they’ll satisfy picky eaters at your house! (Not saying I have any of those at my house, lol… but…)
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs. sirloin steak cut into 1 inch cubes
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 Tbsp honey
3 garlic cloves, minced (I used 1 Tbsp. minced garlic)
green onions or sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Mix marinade ingredients together well. Place steak pieces in a zip-lock bag along with marinade, press out excess air, seal, then rub marinade over steak. Put in refrigerator and let marinate 1-2 hours.
Heat 1 Tsp oil in skillet over medium to medium high heat and add steak (spacing them apart) to skillet. Let sear until golden brown, about 1 minute then turn and continue to cook until done (internal safe temperature is 145 degrees).
Serve with your favorite veggies!
Food Prep Tip:
~When prepping meals for the week I try to serve the same protein a couple of different ways (cook once, eat twice).
~For this sirloin steak, I served it with broccoli & green onions one night and another night I put the steak over riced cauliflower with sautéed mushrooms and onions and topped with green onions.
~There are several different combinations you could use! All you need is a little imagination!
