Turkey Poppers

These are so good! I found this recipe from Unbound Wellness and then made a few substitutions to make it work for my macros. Click the link to check out her blog. She’s got tons of great recipes to try!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb raw ground turkey
  • 2 cups shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup shredded onions
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp dried chives
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 400 F and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix everything together well and roll mixture into small poppers and slightly flatten them.
  • Bake for 17-18 minutes and then flip them and bake for another 15-16 minutes.
  • Pop them under the broiler for a couple of minutes to crisp them up if you like.
  • Take them out and serve them with your favorite dipping sauce! I love mine with Opa Ranch Dressing
  • Nutrition for 1 Popper: Calories: 53 Carbs/2g Fat/3.5g Pro/4g

NOTES:

-You can use ground turkey or chicken.

-I was out of dill so instead of using individual spices I used a packet of dry ranch seasoning. It worked well! Enjoy!!
